Project Manager (Licensed / Non-Licensed)
Position Purpose:
The Project Manager (Licensed / Non-Licensed) is responsible for effectively, efficiently, and safely fulfilling all technical, managerial, and administrative responsibilities associated with residential and accessory/amenity unit structural engineering projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited) or a minimum of 4 years of college credits.
- Strong knowledge of residential structural systems and construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Essential General Abilities:
- Complete administrative forms and reports accurately and timely.
- Strong communication skills to be effective in verbal and written formats.
- Exercise sound judgment and professional discretion.
- Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality standards.

Position Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will lead and manage residential structural engineering projects from concept through completion, combining technical design expertise with project management and client communication responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design & Documentation:
- Develop structural designs and prepare construction documents (roof, floor, foundation plans).
- Prepare structural details and specifications.
- Review drawings for accuracy and code compliance.
- Additional areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to are structural calculations, shop drawing reviews, field repairs, permit and plan review responsibilities
Project Management:
- Manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Maintain schedules and meet production deadlines.
- Assign and delegate projects and tasks.
- Prepare proposals and pricing in accordance with company standards.
- Monitor project progress using project management software.
- Maintain accountability for timelines and deliverables.
- Mentor Project Engineers in their Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
- If licensed, signing and sealing construction documents
Client & Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with other Engineers, Project Engineers, Structural Drafters, and the Architecture Department as needed on shared client/project work.
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Maintain timely and professional communication throughout all project phases.

Project Engineer
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- Passed or working towards passing Fundamentals Exam (FE) through NCEES.
- General knowledge of residential structural systems and construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Structural Engineer Internship
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural design including creation of new or revised construction documents for residential housing projects including roof framing, floor framing, foundation plans and construction details.
- Manage multiple design projects and coordinate scheduling with design team.
- Work directly with Professional Engineers, Project Managers and Principals.
- Review and redline your own work.
Requirements:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering (Structural Option preferred, but not required) from an ABET accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Engineer with 0 to 10 years in residential structural engineering to include single-family and multi-family homes, apartments, condominiums, townhomes and/or accessory structures.
- Engineer-in-Training Certificate through NCEES, preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency to work in computer-aided drafting, AutoCAD.
- Experience with roof truss and floor joist layouts, a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Desire to be a team player.
- Detail-oriented.
- Basic Microsoft office skills.
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Structural Drafting Manager or Architectural Drafting Manager and with structural or architectural drafting team to produce construction documents, elevations, and details for new construction of single family and multi-family residential projects, based on conceptual designs provided by clients.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinker, identifies and solves problems in a timely manner, works well with a group for common goal solutions, uses common sense and reasoning.
- Self-motivated and self-directed to accurately and thoroughly complete projects.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities, gives and welcomes feedback.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree or higher degree level in the residential field

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Project Manager and Director of Architecture.
- Work directly with an Architectural Drafting team to produce architectural plans construction documents), elevations, and details for new construction of single-family and multi-family residential projects, based on conceptual designs provided by clients.
- Generate creative solutions; translate concepts and information into images, apply design principles, demonstrate attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinker, identifies and solves problems in a timely manner, works well with a group for common goal solutions, uses common sense and reasoning.
- Naturally self-motivated and self-directed to accurately and thoroughly complete projects.
- Open and willing to make adjustments based on the Director of Architecture’s feedback.

Requirements:
- Pursuing an Architectural Associates Degree from two-year college or technical school; or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Engineering & Technology Management with a concentration on Computer Aided
- Drafting and Design; or pursuing a 5-year Architectural Degree.
- Demonstrate proficiency to work in computer-aided drafting, AutoCAD/AutoCAD Architecture.
- Experience with residential architectural drafting (single-family, multi-family), a plus.
- Understanding design drawings and producing construction documents.
- Understanding of residential construction, a plus.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening.
