Beginnings - KSE Engineering
Jim, Ken, and Charles all gained experience at a Philadelphia-area engineering firm during the late 1990s. Charles eventually left to pursue other opportunities, while Ken remained, building and nurturing valuable professional relationships over the next several years.
Jim and Ken shared a common vision: earning their Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenses and launching their own engineering firms. After obtaining his P.E., Jim took the first step by forming a corporation. Through ongoing discussions, Jim and Ken discovered they shared a like-minded approach to structural engineering and a commitment to ethical business practices. With their combined expertise—Jim’s corporation and Ken’s established professional network—they took a leap of faith and founded K&S Engineering.
In 2002, Charles reconnected with Jim and Ken, and together, they established KSE Engineering, bringing a collaborative spirit and breadth of expertise to every project they undertake.
Growth - KSE Engineering
KSE Engineering hired their first full-time employee in 2005 and currently has more than 20 employees. With high professional standards, KSE's team prides themselves on accurate, high-quality work and a strong commitment to their clients and employees.
KSE is known as a trusted, hands-on company both regionally and nationally and attributes its success to a client base earned solely on word of mouth referrals and the qualified, exceptional staff of professionals.
Services Expansion - The KSE Group Architecture
As an established engineering firm with a client base that spans almost 20 years of trusted relationships and experience, KSE Engineering continually seeks innovative ways to meet our clients' growing needs.
For several years, clients shared with us their difficulty in finding a resource to produce quality construction documents, in a timely manner, that could match the level of service they had come to expect from KSE Engineering. Some clients asked if we would ever consider broadening our professional services to include Architectural Services.
In 2016, KSE began pursuing this avenue of forming an Architectural Division. To provide this service, we had to recruit talented and experienced professionals who shared the same ethical standards and quality of work as our founding partners. In 2017, The KSE Group was formed and included a team of qualified professionals that could properly expand the company's offering of services.
With the newly formed company, licensed to provide architectural and drafting services in 17 states and growing, we are thrilled to say that what was once a thought has now turned into a reality and is a thriving and growing expansion of services provided by our firm. The Architectural Division has been able to meet the needs of some of those very clients who helped plant the seed years prior, as well as many new clients.
